UK Spouse Visa, application origination

Post by Hawaii » Mon Dec 25, 2023 5:57 pm

Good Evening All,

Merry Xmas to those who are celebrating 🎉

I have been following the forum for a good few weeks, and I can see that there are some very knowledgeable people within this community, thank you very much.

I am going to start the UK Spouse Visa application, for my Hubby to come and join me here in the UK, from Pakistan.

I am planning on completing the application myself (on behalf of Hubby, question is do select " Apply outside the UK" which is a higher fee or do I select Apply in the UK . Just confused with this opinion, my gut tells me it's applying from outside the UK.

I appreciate all the help and advice you can offer me.

Thank you.

Your husband is outside UK, hence the only option is "apply outside the UK". Your husband is the applicant, not you, and he's abroad.
