Travel while renewing the BRP

Post by wxyuanilr » Tue Jan 23, 2024 10:51 pm

Hi, I have Indefinite Leave to Remain with a BRP expiring in June 2024. I have just submitted a renewal application via UKVCAS today, but I heard that it might take up to 6 months for me to get the new card, which is ridiculously long. I am intending to travel outside the UK in April 2024. Is it completely okay to do that before I receive the new BRP, since my current/old BRP is still valid until June 2024?

As long as it's valid, it's fine.

Keep in mind your new card will only be valid for just a few months.
