Hi all,
A friend of mine came to the UK as a postdoctoral researcher on a 1-year Academic Visitor visa. Her husband and 2 daughters received Type D - Dependents of Academic Visitor visas. However, one child received a Type C - Visit Visa valid for 1 year with a duration of 180 days. They have been in the UK for around 5 months and didn't realize the difference in their visa types until they visited their home country a couple of weeks ago and got stopped at the UK airport who identified the difference in the child's visa. Could anyone please let me know how to correct his mistake on the visa?
