In-Country Skilled Worker Visa Application for EU National

I'm an Italian citizen currently living in the UK on a COA which I received after an unsuccessful EUSS application. Just got a job offer as a Skilled Worker and I meet all the requirements I now wish to apply for a Visa. What I wish to know is at which stage of the application do they request my passport and would there normally be an interview much like they do when applying from outside the UK :?: ?
