Extending dependent visa

Hello all,

So my wife is on skilled worker dependent visa, which will expire Sept 2024. I was previously on skilled worker visa, but now got my ILR 2 months ago.

I understand that in order to avoid resetting her 5 years ILR clock, my wife has to stay on the skilled worker visa. My questions are:

1. Will it be an entirely new visa application? Or is there like an "extend skilled worker dependent visa" option? If you could provide a link, that would be appreciated.

2. How long would she get the visa for?

3. Will she have to go back to our home country to make the application? Or can she make the application from within UK?

Hi,

I have same situation in which my spouse needs a dependent visa extension whilst I just switched to ILR 1 month back. Whilst extending her visa as PBS dependent, do I provide Home office reference/ BRP details from your ILR application or from the previous (now expired Tier 2 BRP application).
