More than 180 days outside UK

Hello Gurus!

I am currently in the UK since 2.5 yrs on Skilled Worker Visa. Due to a personal situation (health of my parents) I have to be in India for about a year. My employer is fine with me working from anywhere. My query is if I stay outside the UK for more than 180 days:

• will I have to re-apply for the skilled worker visa?

• if not to re-apply, will I have to spend additional number of days for the shortfall before applying ILR in future?

• can I pause my current skilled worker visa and resume living on it after a couple years

Your employer must terminate your UK skilled visa as you are no longer working in the UK. Failure to do so will potentially end in the revocation of their sponsorship license.
So there is no option but to give up your visa and reapply on your return.
Doing anything else will land your employer and you in a position that can not be explained away.
