Apply for naturalisation as a British Citizen

Post by aullah360 » Mon May 13, 2024 7:13 pm

I am a spouse(Wife) of a British citizen. He became British on the 10 Years Route. I have got ILR as his wife on 5 years Route on 4th Jan 2024. Now I am planning to apply for Naturalization.

1. Can I apply as "Apply for naturalisation as a British Citizen"?

Also,
2. What should I write in the "Enter your reference number if known" under "Have you made any previous UK immigration applications in the UK or abroad?"
Is it the "UNIQUE APPLICATION NUMBER", which I had when I applied. or is it the BRP number or is it "Our ref"(Which came with the immigration decision letter)?
What if I do not write in the "Enter your reference number if known"

Enter any reference number you have for each application, if you don't have a number just state "not known". It is not an issue if don't know something - no reason to refuse your application.
NB. your (or your husband's) route to ILR is not relevant.
