Dependent visa to Tier 2 visa

Post by tan383 » Thu Jan 22, 2009 7:22 pm

Hi,

Being a dependent visa holder, I am currently employed legally. My employer is offering to apply Tier 2 visa for me.

I want to know whether there is any need to go back to my home country and get the entry clearance stamped immediately after getting Tier 2 permit. (I am not having any plans to go back until next year.)

In short I want to know the duration within which a new Tier 2 permit holder has to go back to his country to get entry clearance visa stamped.

Thanks
Tan
