'Is It Just Me?' series on RTE Two today @ 5.30pm

Hi Guys,

My name is Chris Clarke, i work for a production company called Athena Media.

Over the past couple of months we have put together a new series for RTE Young Peoples television called 'Is It Just Me?'.

The series is a 10 part short documentary style programme and features positive journeys through the teenage years.

The weekly series, which began broadcast on 21st January 2009 on RTÉ Two @ 5.30pm, tells first person stories of young people overcoming emotional and mental health issues, from bullying to depression, teenage blues to eating disorders.

Todays epispode may be of interest to you as it follows Akeem, who travel from Nigeria in 2003 and set up home in Tuam Co.Galway. His story tells about his hardship of fitting in and making friends, "I never thought it was bad to be black", but when times where tough or he felt down Akeem could always turn to the football pitch, "When i am on the soccer pitch i feel like a new person".

The episode will be broadcast at 5.30pm today on RTE Two alternatively the series episode are being shown online on the 'Is It Just Me?' website www.rte.ie/tv/ttv/isitjustme/ the very next day.
