Travel out of the country on SMS update

Hi All,

Due to changes in salary, my sponsor has to do an SMS update for me. Please may I ask:

1. How long does the SMS update take for the details to be registered?
2. Can I travel out of the country when the update is being done (for example: if the change start date is in September, can I be out of the country on this start date?)
