So I went to sit my Life in the UK test this morning and after going through all the security screening, I was told there was an issue with the form and then left alone in the screening room for about 5 minutes before then being told there was an computer issue. The person who was screened before me was rejected for not having a matching ID and then somehow the computer had also rejected me. I confirmed that there was nothing wrong with my ID, but there was nothing they could do because the system had already rejected me.
I was told to leave and book another test and the testing center would refund me for the test. But when I looked online it seems that if your test is cancelled you should apply for a refund through the booking system. This whole process has left me confused and super frustrated since I had to take a day off and spend 2 hours traveling one way for nothing. Has anyone ever heard of this happening before?
Thanks!
