Dependant visa - Student

Hi All,

Queries regarding the student dependant visa;

My cousin has been on a student visa (doing his MSc) since September 2023. His course was completed in September 2024, as per the CAS letter, and he is waiting for his course results. He has his visa until March 2025.

would he be able to bring his wife on a dependent visa? he said his friend's family joined them recently.

Can someone please clarify whether would be able to do it or not?

PS: I know people came on student visa last year as they were here before the Jan 2024 new rule, they brought up their families (asking here, my cousin CAS letter says course date sept 2023 - sept 2024) hence, the question.

That seems very long. He should have until the end of his course/CAS, plus 4 months, not plus 6 months.
