Will my dependent visa be still valid if tier 1 is rejected?

Will my dependent visa be still valid if tier 1 is rejected?

Hi,

I am a dependent upon my partner, who is on a work permit valid until 2012. My dependent visa is valid until 2012.

I have applied for tier1 from VFS chandigarh on 12th Janury 2009. The application is still under consideration.

If my tier 1 application fails, will I still have my dependent visa valid for my travel to UK or they can cancel my dependent visa as well.

Please advice.

They cannot canel your dependent work permit visa.
