Graduate visa but my visa will expire in one day

Post by jafferdeen » Mon Oct 28, 2024 6:04 pm

My student visa will expire on 31st October 2024. I recently resat my dissertation and passed, but official results from the university will only be available on 14th November 2024. Given this visa expiration date, what would be the best option for me to remain in the UK legally until i can apply for a Graduate Visa? Would a fee waiver be a viable option in this case? or any other best options

There is no option. It is too late. You should have extended your Student visa for the resit, which would have given you +4 months to get your results and apply for the Graduate visa.

See "What if my Student visa ends before I get my results?":

No.

See "Can I bridge the gap between Student and Graduate visas with a fee waiver?" in the Reddit FAQ above.

fee waiver is abusing the system (not recommended) but lots of law firms do provide that service
just like so called "self-sponsor skilled worker visa"
