Register UK-born children as British

Hey all,

I recently got my ILR and I am now looking at how to register my children as British citizens using the MN1 form.

My children are aged 3 and 1 and were both born in the UK.

I have gone through the application form and I have pretty much everything ready apart from referee information.

For my 3-year old, I can get his nursery teacher plus a family friend who are both British citizens to be the referees. I think that should meet the requirements with the teacher being the professional person.

However for my 1-year, she has not been to nursery yet and there is no one that I can think of to reach out to act as referee. I am not sure how to proceed for her application and would really like some advice from anyone on how to navigate that.

Family friends who respect the requirements on referees will be fine for both.
