Spouse visa extension supporting documents help

Hi everyone,

I’m currently in the process of extending my wife’s spouse visa after her initial 2.5 years. We have an appointment in 4 days. On the documents checklist, there’s a section that mentions the following:

• Documents supporting my other reasons to stay in the UK
• Evidence to support my claim that it would be difficult for me to establish a private life outside the UK

I don’t recall needing to provide anything like this during the initial spouse visa application 2.5 years ago.

Can anyone advise on what kind of documents these are referring to? If it’s a letter or statement, does anyone have an example or template we could use to guide us?

For context, I’ve been an ILR holder for 14 years now.
