ILR Set O (Skilled Worker, Tier 2 or International Sportsperson dependant)

Post by hadoka » Thu Jan 30, 2025 6:39 am

Good Morning Everyone,

My Wife & I applied for ILR (Two separate applications so I can apply priority for myself and standard for my spouse) based on the following :

1 - Online Submission: 16/Dec/2024
2 - Biometrics: 23/Dec/2024

Main Sponsor (Husband) Priority
Wife Dependent - Standard

I, the main sponsor, was successful in obtaining ILR, and I received an update on December 28th, 2024, that I was granted ILR.

My wife just received an email update this morning 30th if Jan 2025:

====================================
Dear xxxxx xxxxxx
Application reference number: xxxxx xxxxx xxxx xxxxx

The Home Office has received your application and supporting information submitted on 16 Dec 2024. Our aim is to provide a decision on your application by 16 Jun 2025.

Do not contact UK Visas and Immigration before this date, we cannot provide any update on your application.

We will contact you if there is a delay with your application or if we need more information.

Please do not reply to this email. This is an automated email.

================================

Based on Experience, my question is, what does this email mean, and on average, how long did it take them to give a final update on the application after that email?

The standard ILR application timeframe is 6 months. That is what that email says. However, most people should get a decision within the 8 week mark
