I am in process of uploading my children’s documents before their biometrics appointment. I have a query regarding their expired passport. We have their passport of entry to the UK but the next expired passport was not returned back by the Portuguese consulate on renewal. Can I upload only current passport or do I need to upload expired passport?
I have a copy of the first page of the missing passport.

There’s no requirement to submit all passports. Just load the current one.
