Help Required For Returning Resident Visa

Hello

I am British Citizen and my wife is a Pakistani Citizen. We moved to Pakistan in 2020 November. She has ILR and I believe that she will not be allowed to enter the UK because she has stayed outside the UK for over 2 year, over 4 years now. Our children moved with us and are all adults in their 20s and are all BC's. We now plan to move back to the UK. I would like some guidance and help in understanding the requirements for her to be reinstated he ILR as Returning Resident.

Would it be best for the rest of the family to move first and then have her apply or could we apply beforehand? My children don't want to leave their mother here in Pakistan alone most likely 1 or 2 of them will stay here with her if they have to if the rest have to leave for the UK. Is there any financial or accommodation requirements that have to be met. I understand that she will have to show significant ties... the only relationship ties she has is me and her children who are all BC's.
