Tier 2 visa salary threshold for pro rata'd working pattern

Post by Aishha » Fri Mar 14, 2025 6:26 pm

Hello,

I am hoping someone on here can help with the below:

I have an employer who is offering a salary of £31000 P.A and are willing to sponsor me on a skilled worker visa. My question is, with the new salary threshold, is this an acceptable amount that I can be paid:

- I will be working as an Accounts Clerk on a 30 hours per week working pattern.
- The going rate for my job is £15.88, which works out to be £30960 P.A

I am confused if this is acceptable mainly with the standard salary rate now being £38700, however, it also says on the below link this amount is for a standard 37.5 hour working week.

Any guidance on this would be much appreciated. Thanks
