Spouse Visa

Hi,

I was wondering if you could help me please.

My wife came to UK on a spouse visa in Nov-2022. The visa is due to run out in July-2025.

How far in advance can we apply for the extension of the visa?

We were due in August to travel to India, so just incase a decision isn't made by then.

Also, if we went back to India to apply for the visa is that possible? Is there any risks e.g. if it gets rejected?

Also, if we went back to India to apply for the visa is that possible? Nope, FLR is in countryIs there any risks e.g. if it gets rejected? You might reset your clock. Simply put, you can't remain in the UK when you're outside the UK!
