I am applying spouse visa for my wife. I am applying under Category F as a director of specified limited company. I received salary and dividends during the period covered by CT600. But I have only received salary and dividend every month first 6 months only. For example, my company accounting period is Jan 2024 - Dec 2024. I have received salary and dividend from Jan 2024 till June 2024 only. From July 2024, I stopped taking salary and dividend but I met financial requirement of 29k from salary and dividends from Jan 2024 - Jun 2024. Is that be any problem?
There is a clause in Appendix FM state that evidence of ongoing employment must be provided:
(e) For the purposes of paragraph 19(a), evidence of ongoing employment as a director or other employee of the company or of ongoing receipt of dividend income from the company must be provided. This evidence may include payslips (or dividend vouchers) and personal bank statements showing that, in the period since the latest 12-month period covered by the Company Tax Return CT600, the person’s salary as a director or employee of the company (or both) (or dividend income from the company) was paid into an account in the name of the person or in the name of the person and their partner jointly. Alternative evidence may include evidence of ongoing payment of business rates, business-related insurance premiums or employer National Insurance contributions in relation to the company.
From the above clause, "ongoing employment" means - should I be employed all 12 month period covered by CT600 and must take the salary every month (i.e 12 payslips)?
Can anyone please clarify on this.
