Evidence for self-employment in the UK as a partner

Post by ahmed103 » Tue May 20, 2025 5:44 pm

Thanks in advance for any advice

I am sponsoring my wife and kids visa, I am self employed partner in a partnership business. Part of required evidence for financial requirements:

"If the business is required to produce annual audited accounts, such accounts for the last full financial year"

I have a chartered accountant, we have annual audited accounts with all partners names, so I asked for a support letter including my UTR, business UTR, SA300 (statement of account) and partnership account.

The accountant produced the letter with all of the above, but could not share partnership accounts. On the support letter: "does not have accounts in his own name, and we are unable to provide the partnership accounts as these contain details relating to the other partners. We can confirm that his share of the partnership income is as detailed in his personal tax return, of which copies have been provided."

Will this be accepted by HO? Anyone with a similar experience?
