Application

Post by mmicky5050 » Fri Jun 27, 2025 12:40 pm

I have just received my ILR under Set M and applying for naturalization now. I had a couple of questions

1. What documents can I use to prove that I was present in country exactly 3 years from now. Do I need a document dated exactly on that date or that month would be fine? Or do I attach my entire passport scan?

2. I have received a couple of parking tickets by the council - they were not addressed under my name and had only got my Car Reg number on them. All paid on time. No points on my license. Do these need to be declared?

Thank you for all the help

If your passport gets stamped on entries into the UK (i.e. it is not a passport that can be used in the e-gates), then the list of absences from the UK in the application form and the passport scans should be sufficient.

No.

As you rightly pointed out, these fines were issued on your car, not on you.

If they were PCNs and you paid them no need to declare them.

Thank you so much, much appreciated

In terms of past visa applications, some of my history goes back to 2003 when I did a masters but then left UK. For that, I have no idea what the application reference number was or what date I had applied. Can I just roughly mention the year and skip day/ month of application?

For the referees, do NHS radiographers count as professionals? They are not specifically on the list. Thank you

Try to give a best guess of the month. It doesn't count towards your statutory requirements regardless.

If not on the list, no.

Thank you
