Posession of cannabis

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice regarding my immigration situation.

Earlier this year I was arrested and later charged with possession of cannabis. I went to court on 11 September 2025, pleaded guilty, and received a £270 fine. There was no other penalty or sentence.

I’m currently on a Skilled Worker visa, due to extend it in February 2026, and I’m worried about how this conviction might affect my visa extension or future ILR.

Has anyone here been in a similar situation (minor possession conviction with a fine) and successfully extended their visa? Any advice or experience would be much appreciated.
