Travel Rules for Settlement Visa Holders!

Post by Khatera » Thu Feb 26, 2009 12:55 am

Hi! I am the spouse of a British citizen and i have a 2 year settlement visa, which is going to be expired in September, 2009. Last year i went to France for 18 days and now i want to go to my own country in June 2009 and come back in August 2009 (one month before my visa expires).
However, i was told that i can't go for 2 months and that i should be here in the UK at least 3 months before my visa expiry date!

Can anyone tell me if that's true and where can i seek more information in this regard.

Many thanks in advance!!!
