Spouse HSMP

Post by nsskiran » Thu Mar 05, 2009 7:09 pm

Guys,

I am on HSMP and my extension is due in April 2009.

My wife is also on HSMP. I would like to convert her visa status as depedent when I apply for extension in April.

Would I be able to do that by applying from here itself ?

or

Does she need to travel back to India to get stamped as dependent ?

Please advise.

Many thanks in advance
Kiran.

Hi,

I just got called the Home office and got answer for my query.

For converting the status to dependent she had to travel back to country of her origin.

Thats what they said.

Hope this could help someone with the same kind of problem.
