Which visa status us Valid - Visa rejection

if my tier-1 visa gets rejected (I am applying in this week)then do my current WP stands valid ?
My WP is valid until 20 Nov 2009 .

If your Tier1-G visa gets rejected.. than your current WP will still be valid....
