Applying for ILR while on Maternity leave

Please help me with my query on applying for ILR. I have been on Maternity leave since August 2008, and will still be on Maternity leave when I apply for ILR in Mid July 2009 (5 years on 7th August 2009). My income is very low...now only Statutory Maternity Pay (when I apply I will be on unpaid leave). My husband works, and I have savings. Please advise what supporting evidence I may need to submit to say that I have low income because on Maternity leave, but will eventually go back to work. Does my savings and husband's income count? I am the main applicant. Please advise me.
