I am eligible for ILR in May at PEO. I applied for TIER 1 in Nov 2008 but it was refused on grounds of maintanance funds. I have read a few threads here talk about 'open files' at HO but none has addressed my worry. Could you guys please shed some light on how I can know whether my refused appplication left my file open or not? Will SAR request show whether my file is open or not?
