ILR Help - Separate Passport Required for Children?

Post by sywahu » Sat Apr 23, 2005 11:10 am

Hi,

Does anyone know whether a separate passport is required for children born in the UK applying for ILR as WP dependents?

Their WP dependent visas are currently on my wife's current passport and while filling the forms, I just realised that it might be necessary to have separate ones. Not sure though.

I also heard that worst case scenario is that it is necessary and in this case, I could just apply for parents ILR and then just apply for BC for kids later on?!

A bit confused about the whole thing. Is there such a rule? Would their visas be stamped on the mother's ppt just like the wp dependent visas were?

Thanks
