I got married in Bangladesh back in February. I submitted a visa application for my wife in March. I've known her for many years. Unfortunately her visa has been rejected becuase she is not 21. She is due to be 21 in August. The advisor who we hired to help us with the application suggested this would not cause too much of a problem becuase by the time the visa gets approved there would be about 2/3 months left till she was 21 and the officers would most probably grant it. I was advised at the embassy when submitting the application to write a letter of authority confirming that my wife was under 21 and that i have knowingly applied for a visa knowing she is under 21. What is the best course of action to take. Should i appeal or should i just apply again in August once she is 21. Or is there a way where i can perhaps ask the officers to defer the visa until august when she will be 21. Your thoughts appreciated. Is there a way of getting the visa approved from August perhaps, i'm just wary of having to pay the visa fees again for a new application in 3/4 months time.
Thanks
