Christina123 wrote:I am just about to apply for my HSMP extension and need some advice on the following:
I know I should`t have had less than £800 in my account 3 months prior to applying but things can`t be changed now. It was only for a couple of days, though.
Does anyone know if the fact that there was ALWAYS more money in my and my husband`s current accounts (if you sum it up) than it is required for those applying as a couple will be considered by the HO?
My husband`s my dependant. We don`t have a joint account, so I`m speaking about 2 current ones!
Has anyone been through this or do you have any idea about what could be done now?
Many thanks and best of luck to all of you, guys!
Liliya.
Well you always have the option of editing the message even after posting it. I guess you got it right in understanding what others are trying to convey.Christina123 wrote:Thank you so much for your replies!!!!!!!!!!!!
And please accept my apologies for the message you read earlier was written on my behalf by my husband! He made me feel awfully ebmarrassed as I found loads of grammar and spelling mistakes there! I am sorry!
Please, guys, I`m probably being silly, but I didn`t quite get it! Do you think I should ask my banker now to transform his current account into a joint one so that I can have my name on it?
Thank you, sweeties!
Liliya.
I know things can be a bit daunting, especially so with ever changing immigration rules and VISA categories. But if you go through the guidance notes carefully and apply it to your own case as if you did not know the applicant, things start making sense and you clearly recognise as to what the caseworker would look for in the application if he followed the guidelines while considering your case.Christina123 wrote:Thank you, push_hsmp!
I`ll try that! But all these things drive me absolutely mad!!!!!!! Any luck with your visa? (if you need one of course!)
Regards,
Liliya.

If you do this, that means you are committing fraud. It is a criminal offence and at the very least you could (and should) be deported from the UK.Christina123 wrote: So I `m going to pay Tax and get a confirmation letter from the Tax Office and my accountant, write invoices to every single student I taught even though some of them are literally imaginary ones and if needed I`ll ask them for a cover letter saying I was paid by cash!
Cash-is-hand where it is not properly invoiced and taxed can not be proven and is part of the black economy. Legally you don't earn this money, period. But the problem is the money never came through the bank account!!!!!!!! Do you think I couldn`t have possibly spent about £70 a day? It`s normal but they won`t see that on the application and I`m sure it`s fully booked now!
Go ahead, though it will be quite onerous collating edidence to support your claim, not to mention convincing the caseworker. All the best.Christina123 wrote:I am going to pay tax for the cash-in-hand even though most of people wouldn`t even declare it! I was also doing some translation and interpretation work and there is nothing abnormal about spending your cash on everyday needs which I did! Everyone would!
