ILR - Citizenship on HSMP + Student Visa less than 10 yrs

Post by kna872 » Wed May 20, 2009 9:56 pm

Hello Everyone,

I have been living here on Student Visa from March 2001 till Jan 2008. And then I moved to HSMP. My current HSMP expires on Jan 2010.

Would I be able to apply for ILR or any other visa after living here for over 8 years with this combination of visas?

I shall remain grateful for any advice.

Kind Regards,

Ali

Unfortunately, 10 years' lawful UK residence is the minimum requirement for ILR under Long residence (276A-276D).
