Dependent working in UK - Maintenance fund amount ?

I am working in UK under Tier 1 and I am getting married to a person who is also working in UK under work permit.
We both are working for more than 2 years in UK.
Since I cant apply for tier 1 dependent visa for a work permit in UK, She has to go and apply from our home country(India).
My questions are
1. Should we both maintain an account in India(we both have out accounts)
2. I have my account here; can I show my fund in UK bank account?
If yes , What amount £
( is it 2800 for myself and 1600 for dependent ?
or is it just 800 for dependent because she is working in uk)
3. What should be the fund that the dependent should hold in India(she also has UK account – cant she show UK bank account)

If you have more than 1-2year validity of T1 and WP to stay in UK...

i would suggest you both to continue on the same visa's till you get your documents ready like marriage certificate, accomodation, utility bills., etc.. for your wife who is on WP to apply as dependent of ur's.. here again.. you shd make sure u will be eligable for Tier1 (G) exentsions...

1. Accounts in UK are eligible to apply as dependent
2. you can show ur funds in uk account being main applicant.. with tier1 approval
3. pls refer the guidance for fees/maintenance fees'
