Can I work in the UK while waiting for my review?

Hi all, I am in the process of putting together my application to move from HSM programme to Tier 1 (General). I think there is a chance I may be declined due to my maintenance funds dipping below 800 at the start of the three month period. I understand that I can review any decline decision and that I would then be able to resubmit proof of maintenance for the three months prior to the review date. My questions are:

Am I allowed to continue working after my HSM visa has expired if I have submitted my application for Tier 1?

Am I allowed to continue working if my application has been declined while I await my review date?

Am I allowed to remain in the UK (not working) while I await my review date?

I greatly appreciate any advice or comments.
