discrepancy....

Post by wy-123 » Wed Jul 01, 2009 12:02 pm

Hi,

I have a simple question relating to earning section..

For the Xmas week my employer deposited the salary in my account on 24/12/2008, but pay slip shows the original date, 26/12/2008, salary was supposed to be paid on. With my application I am enclosing a letter from employer confirming that was the case.

Is that going to be a problem!?

Hope to have replies..

Regards,
WY

If along with your PAY SLIPS, Bank statements matching with the NET Amounts and with additional letter from employer explaining the situation...

You should be FINE to go ahead...

just make sure you also mention this in the cover letter...

It is fine. You can have company payroll run on 26/12/2008 whereas actual payment can be done on other date. It is quite normal. As long as your payslip net amount matches the amount in bank statement, it is fine.
