Spouse settlement - Minimum amt to be maintained in Savings?

Post by Jine » Sun Aug 16, 2009 9:18 am

Hi,
I'm in the process of applying for my spouse settlement visa.

Want to know whether there is a certain amount of funds that should be maintained in a current or savings account by me (applicant). I'm aware that nothing of this nature is mentioned in the guidance on the website anywhere.

I recently got to know that an applicant should maintain an amount equivalent to £1,060 in a current or savings account for a period of 3months or more for me to obtain entry clearance, is this really so?

Just to clarify I did NOT hear this from an ECO
