HSMP Extension - Passport Photo

Hello,

another paranoid question. The passport sized photos I have for my extension application use a blue background. I was just wondering whether a blue background would be acceptable for the HSMP people, or will they need a white background like they do for passports.

The pictures are used in the visa sticker they put on your passport. The giude line says

Please provide passport-sized photographs with a white background for yourself and any dependants.
