EEA Family permit - Help Needed

Post by vikaroin » Tue Sep 01, 2009 3:17 pm

Me (Indian) and she (German) going to get married in Delhi India and wish to come back to live in UK thru EEA family permit but we are bit confused how to go about it because

* She currently lives in Germany and will be coming to India for marriage. - So while filling up the EEA permit form there is a option if you are already living in the UK or intends to live in the UK.-- What documents/proofs we need to satisfy BHC in Delhi OR >>She first needs to come to settle in the UK to provethat she is already living and working here and then come india for marriage-- Which one will be easier?

* FYI - I am currently in UK from last 2 yrs on a WP. My original plan was to get married in the UK itself and then apply for EEA2 permit from here...but that wasn't the case as I got ill suddenly and my COA for marriage in UK which I got from the Home office has now expired (25th May). Can we still get married in UK with a expired COA?

Need your help on this

Many Many Thanks!!

Please see Evidence you will need to provide for your EEA family Permit application.

Also you will need to reapply for another COA if you intend to get married in the UK

Sorry to miss this info...My WP was also expired on 30th June and now I've applied for Medical Visa from within the UK and waiting. Can I apply for a fresh or extension of my previous COA on the basis of medical visa now.?

You certainly can. Even if you are undocumented, you can still apply. If your marriage will be genuine of course.

How long have you been in a relationship or living with your partner?
