hi all
i realy need urgent help or advice ASAP
I was married to eeu national for 5 years. I started divorece procedure 3 months before my 5th year in the UK was ending. In the same time I applied for indefinite. I received final decreased two months from my application for indefinite. After 9 months HO asked for proof that my ex wife exercised treaty rights in UK. I replied that she has never worked and I supported her. I sent all my P60's and proof of my income from the past 5 years, as well as all our utility bills under our names which are the proof that we lived together. After 3 months I was asked the same questions - they requested the evidence of my ex wife exercising the treaty rights for 5 years. I have replied with cover letter saying that my ex wife has never worked and she was financialy dependant on me. I was not asked for her ID or passport as they had copy in the file already. After another 3 months I received refusing letter. I was told that I have no right to apply for IND because my ex wife did not have private medical insurance while staying in UK. I was given the right to appeal . My case is next week.
I feel that my solicitor is not knowledgeable enough for my case. One of my friends recommended this website saying that I would get help here.
I would appreciate any comments and advice ASAP.
Thanks
