Ref. letter in support of my wife's visa

I'm a student at a Uni here in the UK and my wife is going to apply for student dependent visa to join me here while i'm completing my degree. Hence, a friend of mine advised that a reference letter from my personal tutor would be very helpful for ECO in my country. I referred to my tutor and he said to email him what I want him to write. So my question is that I'm not really sure what to write.
Any assistance or sample draft would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

The ECO may match up her application with yours so the tutor really just needs to give a brief resumé of how you are progressing with your studies.
