Working condition for Non-Eu Spouse for an EU Citizen

Post by Shashi-Sekar » Thu Nov 05, 2009 11:15 am

Hi,

My husband is an Irish Citizen. He is working in Ireland for the past 8 years. I am also living here for the past 4+ years. Now we want to move to UK.

I wonder, Is there any Spouse Visa to work in Uk like Ireland. Here i can work without work permit.

Anybody help me to clear this doubt.

So your husband is Irish, and now the two of you want to move to the UK and exercise EU Treaty Rights in the UK, for example, by working.

At the British Embassy in Dublin you need to apply for an EEA Family Permit. The application fee is .... free!

Go to this website and select Ireland from the dropdown list, etc.. The application needs to be made online, and then just follow the instructions about where to send the supporting evidence.
