Salary Issue

Post by majic » Wed Aug 10, 2005 1:01 pm

My cousin wants to apply for HSMP. His salary is greater then what is required for his AGE + COUNTRY. But the salary shows as a combination of two salaries i.e. FULL TIME + PART TIME.

He works Full time as a Software Engineer.
He works Part time as an IT Instructor.

Does it make a good case. I mean the TAX return shows both Salaries grouped and break down as individuals.

What do u guys say ??

Cheers

Can someone comment on such type of Income where there are 2 sources of income and both from the same profession as the one on which HSMP is being sought.

As long as they are salaries that show up for tax purposes and on the salary statements, they will be acceptable.

It is perfectly acceptable. A colleague of mine worked in the same way and he got his approval easily. To prove it , the tax return and documentary evidence of contract for both job will be required.
