Bank documents from internet

Post by omeo_21 » Mon Jan 11, 2010 2:30 pm

Hi, i would be grateful if you could answer my 2 questions

I need to provide some bank statements from around 6-4 years ago.

I got my bank to send me them but for some reason they keep sending me wrong statements. COuld i just print them from the internet, they are just to prove savings or do i need originals from the bank??

also when proving these savings from my mother will it be enough just to provide my personal statements showing that money coming in and a letter from her? (im unable to get my mothers statements)

thanks :D

Hi there, they generally want original bank statements only, i.e. not print outs from the internet. You could print the necessary statements and get the bank to verify them with their stamp / signature but statements on proper bank letterhead are best...obviously that might be difficult if your bank is overseas!

Sorry not sure about the second question.

Omeo, based on stuff you've posted on another forum, you have a solicitor. He will deffinitely have the answers to all of these questions.

The letter from your mom should be fine.
I tell it like it is.
