Anyone received PSW for January application??

Hi guys, i applied for my PSW on 8th Jan and received my acknowledgement letter on 12 jan. If anyone has applied around that time and received their PSW please share your experience with us :idea:

I sent my application on 4th Jan and received acknowledgement dated 5th Jan. I'm still waiting.

One of my mates applied on 31st Dec and got his visa on 29th Jan.

Have your money been deducted..

This acknowledgement letter i think this is the problem with many of us.

My solicitor also told me that they sometimes never send any letter.

I am just wondering that is our file now in the que or yet to be concidered or lying down somewhere......

Please could someone help me on that..

I sent postal orders....
As for the ack letter I called HO and the lady said that I don't need to worry, it happens frequently and is only important they've received the application ( i sent by recorded delivery and checked the status on post office website)

winnie1985, i think most people who used postal orders have had delays with ackowledgement letters, but i suppose once you receive ur psw, we will put that fear to rest.

Its kind of odd, I know.. but may be my case was too lucky.

Congrats to Silverexplore, Vpac and Pswques and thanx for sharing your timeline. The process seems to be moving faster than i expected for january which is a good sign for the straight forward applications. good luck to u all and hopefully we will join u soon. :D
