15 Months or 12 Months

Post by aark » Tue Feb 09, 2010 1:25 pm

Hello

I am confused as to when I should apply.

I got my first salary on July 31, 2009 and want to know as to if I could apply when I complete 12 months on June 30, 2010.

OR do I have wait to complete 15 months which is expected to be September 30, 2010.

Thank you
Bye

12 months out of last 15 months! So you can apply after June 30

On the day you are applying you can use any of the 12consecutive months in the last 15months before that month..

For example you are applying in Feb 2010.. you can use any 12consecutive months(Dec 08 - Nov 09 or Jan09-Dec09 or Feb 09 - Jan10 or Mar09-feb 10) in the last 15months (Dec09-Feb10)

Having said that it is not necesary that you need to show earnings for all 12months you can show 12consecutive or less months in that period if you can claim enough points...

I understand what you are trying to say, but its obvious a person has to be employed during the 12 month period, but is it necessary to be employed the whole 15 months??

No you dont need to be employed for whole 15months or 12months also..

Ex. If you earn 40K in 6months and get enough points in those 6months you are good to go..
