My credit card has been charged on 31/8.
My application was received by HSMP team on 1 September.

Status as on 9th September: Not yet allocated to a case worker.

Other September applicants, please share your details.

Submitted application on 8th through FedEx, reached Sep 12th,
Got confirmation from HSMP team and fee got deducted from my credit card
same day.

As they say, Joined the waiting game...

Ashwin, How did you get the status as of Sept 9 ?
Did you get a confirmation id from HSMP team ?
and which country r u from ?

amithanda,

When I submitted my application, I filled up the section for acknowledgement. After my application reached HSMP team, they sent the acknowledgement which contained my reference number.

I am applying within Europe.

I telephoned on 9th, and as on this date, the application has not yet been allocated to a caseworker.

Got a reply from HSMP Team as below

Your HSMP application has been allocated to a caseworker and is
currently under process.

You will be notified in writing as soon as a decision is made on your
application.

Any idea how much time a Case Worker takes ?

Any progress with other folks on this forum...?

amithanda,

Did you request in your covering letter that you be notified when decision is made? I think if you dont specifically mention this, they automatically post the decision letter and documents by Airmail to you without any prior email notification.

Once the application goes to a caseworker, if everything is in order, you may get the decision within a week.

Sent courier from India on 23rd of September
Received by HO, uk on 26th of September
Got acknowledgement by Airmail stating we received your application on 26th September and money got debited from my CC.

Sent email today 11th Oct waiting for reply.

Hi,

immigration agency submitted on my behalf on the 22nd of September '05.

Received reply on the 13/10/05 - Refusal...

Now submitting a review submission.... does anyone know how many review submissions are permitted for the one application? is it 1? 2? 3?
