when to post AN form

Post by munawer » Tue Mar 23, 2010 2:11 pm

Hi
I am to apply for naturalisation on 5 years base, I entered UK on 26/3/05, got ILR on 11/3/09.
I intend to post it myself.
on ukba website (You must make sure you meet this requirement before you make your application. For example, if we receive your application on 25 March 2010, you must show that you were in the UK on 26 March 2005.)

I understand from this that I can post it on 24/3/10, am I right?
I seen that some saying that I should post it 27/3/10, on some topic.
but this is not what is on ba wesite. did they make a mistake.

From that example it must be a day over 5yrs it seems so it would be 27/3/10 that they must receive it and not any earlier. So posting it this coming Friday should be okay.

Look At this statement
the person applying was in the United Kingdom (see Note 4) at the beginning of the five-year period that ended on the date the application is received(BN7).

this mean it end 25/3/10 and i can post it 24/3/10.
