EEA Permit For UK for Non EU Spouse Of A Irish Citizen

Post by fionnusice » Tue Apr 06, 2010 12:22 pm

Hi
please can anyone guide me on the below ->

1) My wife is Irish and I am Indian. At present we are both resident in Ireland for last 4 years. I have my residence visa for ireland till 2013.

2) We wish to go and live in UK. Can I get a EEA permit to go with her to live in UK. At present she lives and works in Ireland and not UK , is that a issue ?

Thanks to advice

You can both go and live in the UK together, subject to conditions.

EEA Family Permit is optional. Pointless in some circumstances, useful in others.
